Ryan Musson Accident Bobcaygeon, ON Death, Obituary – In Loving Memory

The Bobcaygeon community is mourning a second heartbreaking loss following the devastating collision on County Road 49 that claimed the life of 16-year-old Briannah “Bri” Sabovitch and has now also taken the life of her boyfriend, Ryan Musson.

Ryan had been fighting for his life after sustaining catastrophic injuries in the crash that occurred on the evening of May 30, 2026, at the intersection of County Road 49 and Burys Green Road. Following the collision, he was airlifted to Sunnybrook Hospital in Toronto, where he remained under intensive medical care. Despite the determined efforts of healthcare professionals and the unwavering support of his family, Ryan sadly passed away from his injuries.

His death has left family, friends, classmates, and the wider community devastated as they struggle to comprehend the loss of two young lives taken far too soon.

Ryan was deeply loved by those who knew him. He was a cherished son, brother, grandson, friend, and teammate whose kindness, character, and caring nature touched countless lives. Those closest to him describe a young man with a bright future, a warm heart, and a smile that could light up any room.

In the days following the crash, the Fenelon Township Public School community and residents throughout the Kawartha Lakes region rallied around Ryan and his family, offering prayers, encouragement, and support. Many hoped for a miracle as he fought through severe injuries while also facing the unimaginable loss of Bri, whom he loved dearly.

Now, the community mourns them both.
