The St. Clair Shores community is mourning the heartbreaking loss of Jessica “Jessi” Cantle, who passed away peacefully on May 31, 2026, at the age of 32. Her passing has left an immeasurable void in the lives of her family, friends, and all who were fortunate enough to know her.
Jessi was a devoted wife, loving mother, cherished daughter, sister, and friend whose life revolved around the people she loved most. For 17 beautiful years, she shared a deep and enduring bond with her husband, Danny Cantle. Together they built a family centered on love, support, and unwavering devotion. Above all else, Jessi treasured her role as a mother to her beloved children, Liam, Scarlett, and Josephine. Her family was her greatest joy, and she dedicated herself completely to ensuring they felt loved, encouraged, and cared for every day.
She was the beloved daughter of Kathy Plouffe and the late Albert Plouffe, and the cherished daughter-in-law of Donna and Kevin (Nina) Cantle. Jessi’s memory will also be forever treasured by her siblings Vito (Kaley) Plouffe, Kyle (Dawn) Buffa, Melissa Buffa, and Katie (Dennis) Mackley, along with her sister-in-law Emily, numerous nieces and nephews, and dear friends Hayle, Courtney, and Carol.
Though naturally shy, Jessi possessed a remarkable artistic talent and creative spirit. Her passion for art inspired her pursuit of becoming a tattoo artist, allowing her creativity to flourish. She also enjoyed reading romance novels and spending quiet evenings watching her favorite series, The Vampire Diaries.
Family and friends are invited to honor Jessi’s life on Sunday, June 7, 2026, from 12:00 p.m. until the Celebration of Life at 5:00 p.m. at Bagnasco & Calcaterra Funeral Home, 25800 Harper Avenue, St. Clair Shores, Michigan 48081.
Jessi’s kindness, creativity, and unconditional love will never be forgotten.
