Jack Pugh Death Hilliard, OH Obituary – In Remembrance Of A Cherished Soul

The communities of Hilliard and Plain City, Ohio, continue to mourn the heartbreaking loss of Jack Michael Pugh, who passed away unexpectedly on March 30, 2026, at the age of 24. While grief remains overwhelming for his family and friends, the extraordinary outpouring of love and support has been a testament to the profound impact Jack had on countless lives.

In a heartfelt message, Jack’s family expressed their gratitude for the prayers, cards, flowers, donations, and countless embraces they have received since his passing. They described an immeasurable void left behind by the loss of a young man who meant so much to so many. An estimated 1,400 people attended Jack’s funeral services, reflecting the remarkable number of lives he touched during his 24 years.

Born on August 22, 2001, in Columbus, Ohio, Jack grew up in Hilliard and Plain City, where he became known for his infectious smile, humble nature, and unwavering kindness. He excelled in both football and basketball and later attended the University of Wisconsin, where he proudly continued his football career while pursuing his education.

Beyond athletics, Jack built a career as a dedicated plumber and earned the admiration of coworkers, friends, and family alike. Those who knew him remember a young man with a generous heart, a contagious sense of humor, and a natural ability to make everyone feel valued and welcomed.

Jack is survived by his loving parents, Daniel Pugh II and Kimberly Pugh; his brother, Trey Pugh; sister-in-law, Liza Pugh; along with numerous grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins, and lifelong friends.

His family says Jack was an incredible son, brother, teammate, friend, and devoted dog owner whose absence is felt every moment of every day. In honor of his love for animals, memorial contributions may be made to the Columbus Humane Society.

Though gone far too soon, Jack Michael Pugh’s legacy of kindness, friendship, and compassion will live on forever in the hearts of those who loved him.
