Born on April 11, 2017, in Amarillo to Braden and Lauren Gruhlkey, Coy was preparing to enter the third grade in Bushland. He was known as a true farmer at heart, rarely leaving home without his work boots, pliers, and one of his treasured pocketknives. Adventurous, energetic, and highly athletic, Coy embraced life with enthusiasm and determination.
Above all, Coy loved his family. He looked up to his brothers, Easton and Knox, often saying they had taught him everything he knew. He was especially protective of his twin sister, Copeland, and shared an unbreakable bond with her. His family remembers him as a child with an enormous heart, a contagious sense of humor, and a compassion for others that far exceeded his years.
Those who knew Coy also remember his passionate love for Jesus and the joy he brought into every room. His kindness, laughter, and unwavering faith made a lasting impact on countless lives.
He is survived by his parents, Braden and Lauren Gruhlkey; his siblings, Easton, Knox, and Copeland; grandparents, extended family members, and many friends who will cherish his memory forever.
