The Northwest Ohio brewing community is mourning the loss of Aaron “Griz” Grizaniuk, founder and owner of Patron Saints Brewery, who passed away after a courageous four-year battle with Stage 4 pancreatic cancer. His death has left a profound void among family, friends, colleagues, and the countless people whose lives he touched through his generosity, leadership, and unwavering dedication to others.
Aaron was far more than a brewery owner. To many, he was a mentor, a trusted friend, a devoted husband and father, and a pillar of the local community. When Aaron was diagnosed with Stage 4 pancreatic cancer in the spring of 2022, support poured in from breweries, patrons, and friends throughout Northwest Ohio.
